Michigan College of Beauty Wireless Messaging Security Data Privacy Policy
Purpose: Michigan College of Beauty sends and receives wireless messages from prospective students and salon clients. These are the principal consumers of our wireless messaging. This policy governs associated data collection and usage.
Data Collection and Usage: Michigan College of Beauty retains data of consumers who have specifically and explicitly provided opt-in consent. The data is used to communicate public information about Michigan College of Beauty, our courses and salon services.
Data Sharing Restrictions: Michigan College of Beauty does not share or sell consumer information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Verbal consent: Michigan College of Beauty – Monroe will be collecting opt-in verbally from their customers. The customers will be able to opt in to receive messages either in person or over a phone call. Customers are asked to provide their phone number, and staff is trained to ask if the customer would like to opt in to receive text messages about our courses at Michigan College of Beauty. They will be verbally informed that “Message and data rates may apply”, “Message frequency may vary”, and they can “text HELP for support or more information and STOP to unsubscribe at any time.” They will also be informed that their phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
